World Wide Laboratories Improvement, Inc is a 501c3 organization serving the laboratories in hospitals and clinics in developing countries by providing affordable and durable equipment, supplies, training and consulting.
MAP International is a 501c3 organization whose mission is to advance the total health of people living in the world’s poorest communities. We carry out that mission through disease prevention, relief, and community health development.
Con Vista Sul Mondo is an Italian non-profit organization we met at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bukavu. Con Vista is a group of volunteer doctors, nurses, and pharmacists located in Mantova, Italy and they are very similar to Project Congo in their mission. They support St. Vincent’s hospital as well as a hospital in Malawi.
Salesian Missions based in New Rochelle New York enable poor and suffering children to live better lives and build brighter futures. They have helped Project Congo ship supplies to the Congo and provide a vehicle for transferring funds to Ngangi.
Kettering Hospital Network is nonprofit network of hospitals and clinics in the Dayton, Ohio area. They have donated medical supplies to Project Congo.
Catholic Relief Services works with organizations around the world to help poor and vulnerable people overcome emergencies, earn a living through agriculture and access affordable health care
Brother’s Brother Foundation is a gift-in-kind charity that focuses on medical and educational needs around the world. BBF has served 149 countries worldwide with over 100,000 tons of medicines, medical equipment, textbooks, educational supplies and emergency disaster aid since its founding in 1958.
Caring Partners International is a 501c3 organization with many outreach services including shipping large quantities of donated medical supplies to regions throughout the world that are in desperate need. They maintain a large warehouse in southwestern Ohio where nearly one hundred local volunteers inventory, refurbish, and prepare for shipment hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical supplies and equipment each year.
Santé et Developpement or S. A. D. is a Congolese NGO (NonGovernmental Organization) in Bukavu, DRC created by Dr. Jeff Mibi of St. Vincent Hospital to provide shelter, medical care, psychological counseling and education to victims of rape.
Maison Marguerite is a shelter sponsored by Don Bosco Ngangi in Goma, DRC for young victims of rape. Read this article to learn more about this program.
St. Vincents Petit Seminaire is a Catholic boys boarding school in Kigali, Rwanda. It is led by Father Pascal Tuyisengi. For several years it has ranked academically #1 in the country. When we travel to the DRC, we fly into Kigali and Father Pascal hosts us at the school.
